This assignment was for my Photography Thesis class where I've decided to make work surrounding issues of multiculturalism and identity.

With studio lighting, and manipulated angles, I was able to take a portrait of my sister and of myself without the use of photo manipulation. While combining my four cultures: German, Peruvian, Mexican and American, I've realized the color that unites all four of them is red, and utilize it as a symbol.

I've successfully taken an image that portrays how we try to succumb to societies vision of beauty and long to look like one another.
