Creating labels for sake to be released overseas by Sanyohai Shuzo, a sake brewery. This is a revival product of a brand that used to exist in Japan. The project was launched with the hope that women overseas would choose sake in the same way they choose wine.
Since the product is targeted at women, the brush strokes are rounded to avoid looking masculine. The circle in the background is an abstract representation of a scene of toasting while looking at the moon reflected in the water with plum blossoms. The plum blossoms in the background express a more feminine impression. The sake flavors are color-coded in red and blue, with the red being for everyday use and the blue for more expensive sake. We hope that many people will choose to drink this sake in the future.
The labels and boxes were created with a Japanese flavor, and are being picked up overseas as well. The client liked the product so much that the logo is also used on the cardboard for transportation. We sincerely hope that our products will be enjoyed like wine overseas.
