After a series of events that rocked Harry Bosch's world, and made him question everything he stands for and believes, the brief for season 6 of this L.A.-based Amazon original series was to suggest Harry's dilemma.
We positioned the lead character on the back side of the iconic Hollywood sign, to show that he is on the other side of his usual perspective, but still positioned as a guardian of the city that he loves so much. We directed a photoshoot with Titus Welliver and, in collaboration with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, did an additional shoot of the golden City of Angels behind the Hollywood sign.
Amazon has viewership goals, target viewership to achieve in the first 30 days of a series launch. The marketing campaign created buzz and excitement to such a degree that Amazon's 30 day goals were smashed... by a lot... making this a very successful launch.
