Family-owned and operated vineyard is located in Wilyabrup, in the heart of the Margaret River, Western Australia. We renamed this winery 'Jilyara'. The name was inspired by the abundance of bees in the vineyard and derives from the word 'Djilyaro', meaning 'place of bees' in the indigenous Noongar language. The brief which included the renaming and rebranding, was to create a premium, striking series of labels for their premium tiers of wines that built upon the 'bee- related' theming. Bees also indicate the general good health of a vineyard. As everything was to exude the family’s philosophy and environmental ethos, the 'apis millefera' became an appropriate symbol united with the logotype.
