Speedyinks is an aftermarket seller of high quality toner cartridges. The name is a play on both fast shipping and the high volume printers the product is made for. They wanted to stand out from the usual generic and cheaply packaged product they compete with.

Our approach was to push the concept of speed and performance by creating a sense of motion and a product the is visually impactful. The obvious symbolism of checkers and the racing flag are intentional play on the world of high performance machinery. Further inspiration came from researching concept car illustrations that tend to be rendered fast with deep rich colors.

This client does not take themselves to serious and like they impactful look and name recognition. Orders have doubled in the first 2 quarters since the new packaging has come out. Customer service reps have stated that brand recognition has been a big factor when customers are choosing over similar priced product from other brands.
