The goal of this project was to create a successful branding system, including the logo for forbiddenfruit. With the name being “forbiddenfruit” how do you make something so wrong feel so right?
Through out the process I tried to find ways to use vibrant colors that represented the fruity flavors without being too overwhelming. I found that using black with the colors really helped to compliment and balance out the overall designs…While at the same time giving the brand its “forbidden” feel.
I believe the goal of making the brand feel “forbidden” was accomplished. The colors were a huge factor in achieving the brands success by finding the perfect balance between eye¬–catching yet dark. The cohesiveness of the brand represented throughout all of the designs also was a major contributor to keeping the brand recognizable.
