High resolution medium format digital photos, book was printed with a new stochastic process which eliminates the typical dot-pattern.
Assignment
I set out to create aerial photographs of Los Angeles and New York that would show the varieties and differences between each city in terms of social and architectural styles and features.
Approach
I used a comparative approach by photographing each city from a 90 degree angle straight down, as seen in an architectural plan view, and creating a typological study.
Results
The results turned into a highly regarded and well-reviewed book of the two densely populated, coastal American cities.
