A marketing priority for season 2 of The Exorcist was to differentiate it from season 1 as a new story within the anthology. Create an image that maintains the brand of high quality horror associated with The Exorcist.
Approach
Taking place in the Pacific Northwest, we wanted to incorporate aspects of the region into the key art to help set the tone of fear and isolation.
Results
The artwork integrates the location into a dramatic and disturbing image of the screaming protagonist, creating a visceral, emotional and iconic image.
