This project came about as a pitch idea for sustainable liquor brands. The concept was to imbue the images with touches of nature, and intimations of the fragility of the environment as touch points for specific brands, and how they are contributing to conservation efforts and sustainability as it applies to their business practices.
The approach was from a psychological lens, to show hints of environmental themes as they tie into our psychology as humans. The treatment was subtlety, additional touches of nature and use of color, to trigger emotions and make connections between the creative and the product(s) as well as the products thereof, the cocktail recipes. There are also stop motion pieces that contribute to the ideas of fragility of the environment.
The results are being assessed now, as the project is being pitched to several brands. The images were a success on instagram, and I plan to continue this project incorporating more motion.
