The goal of this assignment was to develop a unique, recognizable logo for Paper Theory, an online retail service providing women with printable sewing patterns to up-cycle their wardrobe.
Inspired by prêt-à-porter sewing patterns and the sewing process, this logo uses a humanist sans serif, cut-paper effect, and sewing pattern patch in the shape of a "P" to induce a sense of handcrafted, slow fashion.
The final logo communicates the brand's story, is authentic to the craft of sewing, and is unique to inspire the support of ethical fashion.
