Over the past few months, the world gets very fragile with the recent war events happening in Ukraine. As visual designers, it is a vital time for us to stand up, speak up, and support broken hearts. So I create this "PEACE CRIES" poster to call for peace and love.
Approach
This heart-shaped dove represents that peace and love are always together. They are an integral whole and cannot exist independently. The zigzag symbol conveys that the war is like a flash of lightning suddenly and powerfully hitting on Ukrainian people‘s bodies and hearts. The peace cries and tears with blood are converging into raging waves that are roaring at the war. All the unsmooth contour lines and shabby traces on the poster symbolize the scarred people and earth.
Results
I hope everyone could stand for justice, peace, and love. No more wars, blood, and harm.
