The goal was to create a packaging system for a product line of 3 or more components with an established visual and verbal context to the product's functionality.
I chose to do an all-inclusive party pack of cocktail drinks for anyone looking to add a spike in their day. The name, "Feel Better Juice" is a punny take on the way alcohol makes people feel. It also comes with the slogan , "If you are reading this you are not drunk enough," as a playful statement for the consumer to engage with. The milk carton shape evokes a more casual and nostalgically fun feeling, while each flavor features a corresponding color and an intentionally named character. Blueberry Mojito is blue and comes with Buzzed Bunny. Piña Colada is yellow and features Mellow Mouse. Lime Margarita is green has Tipsy Toad. Lastly the special flavor, Mimosa which is orange and comes with Cool Cat. I purposely made the mimosa flavor a 0% alcohol drink to cater for the friend who chooses to stay sober, yet can still feel included in the festivities without sticking out in the crowd.
The project received tons of positive feedback. People felt like they could imagine themselves having the product at a casual party or a friend get-together. Many of those who don't partake in alcoholic beverages were also thrilled that the Feel Better Juice line included a drink that was catered for them.
