The muted color palette of nature in our Northwest winter is my favorite. And a splash of sunlight breaking up our normal gray days brings the landscape alive with its full range.
I've been creating images of these subjects for many years, but we don't find these conditions often. If I'm fortunate to have my camera when the conditions are right I count myself very lucky indeed.
