I wanted to create a fun, colorful narrative for my portfolio that was seasonal, fresh and eye catching.
Not a typical recipe, but something playful using graphic elements and current lighting trends.

Working closely with the food and prop stylist we came up with the idea of 2 images that were food based and a third image that was a deconstruct of those shots. The first image of the meringue with melon balls was graphic, seasonal and interesting, the drink shot also incorporates the use of the fruit but is more elevated as a mocktail, and then the deconstruct using all the elements including the props with some human interaction.

We are thrilled how this turned out.
The colors and graphic nature of the images work as individual shots or as a series, which is a great measure of how successful this shoot was.
