- Ad length should be between 8 and 12 seconds long- Your ad needs to begin and end with the logo- Use the provided images, videos & vector assets to create a compelling and interesting design that communicates the clients brand and message. - Each client has two provided headline options; you must choose 1 headline option and include it in your ad.- You may break up the headline into multiple lines for animation. You don’t need to show the full headline all at once, you can animate parts of it in and out.- Try hard to keep your ad from feeling to static, keep the frame moving.
My creative process was to find inspiration from ads that are shown on instagram since the social ads are all under 10 seconds long. By studying professional ads seen on tv and instagram it helped me understand timing and how to keep the frame moving. While also paying close attention to how commercials did transition from one storyboard to another. I really wanted to have a very simplistic social that was typography driven.
My teacher was very happy with what I submitted and was shocked how smooth the timing of each frame was in between transitions.
