Italian ice cream maker Sammontana wanted us to design a publication to pay tribute to design legend Milton Glaser, who had recently passed away a few months prior, had designed the original Sammontana logo back in 1982. The client felt strongly that this fruitful collaboration between artist and industry should be cherished and celebrated

Celebrating the collaboration between iconic Italian ice cream brand Sammontana and design legend Milton Glaser was an exciting challenge. From the start I thought this should be a playful and fun read much like the early 1980s, which is when the logo was designed. Our ambition as design team was to do something as playful and creative in the spirit of Milton Glaser’s work and as enjoyable as ice cream.

The publication is fresh off the press so we only have our client's accolades and ouvert satisfaction to go by.
