The goal of the project was to create a package and brand that immediately resonates with the user. Tarotea is a concept for a line of specialty teas made to enhance the tea drinking experience.Inspired by the symbolism and mystic quality of tarot cards, each tea blend is crafted to reflectthe meaning of a card in the Tarot. The Celestial Blend set includes The Star (a calming blend),The Moon (a sleepytime blend), and The Sun (an energizing blend) loose leaf teas, paired with illustrated cards, crystal sugar sticks, and a tea infuser.

Initially taking inspiration from symbolism and imagery from tarot cards, extensive research influenced every aspect of the project. Each tea blend package matches its
meaning, from the actual herbs themselves, illustrations, and typography.

The project was met with success and sparked a positive reaction among viewers. The subtle yet intricate packaging immediately created a sense of intrigue to further explore all of its contents. “Beautiful” and “pretty” were words used to describe the project, and people enjoyed each detail of the packaging. “If this was real, I would definitely buy this,” was someone’s immediate reaction. The goal of the project was met, which was to instantly resonate with whoever came in contact with it.
