The result is a digital poster series titled, “HOME”, that focuses on uncommon phobias related to objects you can find in your house such as loose hairs, peanut butter, soap, plastic bags, and matches.
The series also includes text at the bottom of each poster that acts as tongue-in-cheek commentary that counteracts the balance of psychological profiling of each phobia.
Chaetophobia (fear of loose hairs), Arachibutyrophobia (fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth), Ablutophobia (fear of washing or bathing), Plastybolsaphobia (fear of plastic bags), and Spirtophobia (fear of lighting a match).
