Worked with Andrew Horton (CD) and Ashley Smestad-Velez (AD) on the cover and supporting illustrations for A Village Voice exposé on an a D.A. halted investigation into a few Brooklyn police officers who were allegedly systematically planting guns on various persons to aid in arrests and convictions.

The Police Lies illustration was one of the supporting illustrations to the cover story.

The cover featured an actual beretta, the type of gun being planted, wrapped in police tape. We used the police tape as a common element across all the illustrations and found that when folded in the right way it could be used to spell out "Police Lies" which hit right at the heart of the exposé.

The CD and AD were pleased with the illustration which ran in support of the cover story in the 11/2/16 edition of the Village Voice.
