The assignment was to choose a large scale service industry client and give them a complete rebrand.
Approach
I chose the Millennium Library, which is the main branch of the Winnipeg Public Library located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It serves around 5,000 visitors each day, many of these students. My goal was to give more edge and sophistication to the previously non-existent branding, while also incorporating architectural aspects in my design.
Results
I created a more exciting yet sophisticated brand in order to better appeal to the most common, college-aged patrons, while including the unique grid window aspect of the building into the branding.
