Through researching user comments and talking to my peers, I uncovered the insight that drivers more often than not mistakingly attempt to switch lanes without realizing a car is in their blind spot. This act is then followed with a quick swerve back into their own lane. With Jeep's blind spot monitoring technology, I needed to express the car's ability to address and rid their fears. To illuminate the idea that Jeep is able to alert when cars are in one's blind spot, I began to think about more engaging and tense blind spots. This led me to the scariest of blind spots: a wild animal trailing you. My ad campaign compares these outdoor blind spots in nature to one’s car's blind spots, drawing a parallel to Jeep and the fact that Jeep can and will alert you for when cars are in your blind spot.
