With the goal of marking the 100th year anniversary of the iconic glass bottle, Coca-Cola Licensing teamed up with Moleskine for a special limited edition collection as part of a global activation of art and creativity celebrating the unique Contour bottle designed in 1915.
The covers for the collection were created from six concepts that were selected from hundreds of designers, artists, illustrators, and architects around the world who responded to a global 'Mash-Up' design brief. Referencing 15 or so favorite pieces of vintage Coca-Cola artwork, the design challenge was to pick one and reinterpret it as a work on paper, using only Coca-Cola Red, black and white.
What started out as a limited special edition collaboration for the Coca-Cola Bottle 100 Year celebration, has been fully commercialized by Moleskine, and the Coca-Cola Notebook Collection is now available for purchase globally across Moleskine’s retail outlets and online.
