This mobile user interface adds an extension to a calendar application by including art events, exhibits, and shows in a local or defined area. Artanac collects information from the user in order to recommend shows that are nearby and fit their palette of media interest.
Approach
When designing this interface, I wanted the artist's work to be the most colorful. Museums, gallery spaces, and art communities typically have minimal, black and white branding with an accent color in order to allow this. The app begins with a Tinder-like swiping process in order to build the user's media palette of shows to recommend.
Results
I was able to test the interface on a panel of users and have them navigate to certain events, features, and parts of the application successfully.
