What would you create to fit within a 1-inch cube?

This publication documents what some of the most respected names in the wood arts field did with that very challenge. United by the Center for Art in Wood the artists were posed with a challenge to create a work of art to fit within a 1-inch cube. The overall design objective was to create as small a book as possible while still containing the necessary contents. Showcasing the artworks at actual size was important.

The book is 6.25 x 6.25 inches—maintaining the square dimension of the 1 x 1 x 1 inch limitation posed to the artists. A simple paper wrapper houses the book along with a stack of signature cards. This is the very first limited edition art book with 53 original signatures from wood artists all over the world.

The book was successfully funded through a Kickstarter-like campaign. Those who purchased the book and all of the artists where overwhelmed by the quality of the book. Everyone loved it and the artists were proud to be included in the publication.
