GTE Financial wanted us to create a quirky, breakthrough TV spot on a limited budget that would promote how members of GTE Financial can get $25 unlimited for every friend they refer, as well as enjoy all the benefits of GTE’s innovative online technology.
We showed someone literally paying for their grocery bill with a friend. We did this to get people to equate that every friend they refer to GTE is worth $25. Fortunately, no conveyor belts were broken in the process of putting a human being on them.
The spot has been very well-received by GTE Financial. It was quirky and different – just like them. The commercial helped to separate them and their rewarding benefits from other area credit unions and banks. They’ve also heard positive comments about the comedic commercial via social media. Most importantly, this spot combined with other marketing efforts have helped to make people more aware of GTE Financial and further grow their membership base.
