‘Workshop’ by Milligan Group will be a visionary business hub in Sydney’s Pyrmont. A new model for inspiring business, this flexible, campus-style space is a centre of activity where you can hold a conference in the café and a brainstorm at the bar, push your performance at the gym and exercise your imagination at every turn. As part of the overall marketing campaign to lease Workshop a typographic font had to be created that would visually articulate Workshop’s future focused stance to the market.
The typographic design, made up on lots of small squares, is reflective of the angular architecture of Workshop. It also brings to life the connectivity and flexibility of the building, which allows to support a fluid, next-generation style of working. The result is an isometric word-mark that looks both mechanical and industrial. The typeface is representative of the fact that Workshop is not just a workplace, but a destination of the future that inspires business, innovation and collaboration.
Milligan Group’s Development Manager, Jarrod White commented that Hoyne “delivered a stunning campaign that demonstrated how Workshop functions and delivers as a workplace of the future. Their ability to deliver fresh creative thinking and bring new ideas to the table was inspiring and made the journey with them very memorable”.
