I was inspired by a garment that I saw at a museum. From there, I created a sketch that would eventually turn into a final illustration. I proceeded with a specific color scheme that reflects the ethereal nature of the contents within the fashion magazine/portfolio. As for the patterns, I wanted a design that would flow throughout the artwork, but was also not too overwhelming.
