To create key art for the 89th Oscars that drives tune-in and introduces first-time host Jimmy Kimmel.
Approach
We developed an Oscars brand campaign that would pull back the curtain to reveal the real people and emotion behind the showmanship. We then hired photographer Jeff Lipsky to help us highlight that same honesty in not only cinema but also in our host, Jimmy Kimmel.
Results
By relying on strong photography and rich use of reds, the final piece had emotional appeal, was easily recognizable, and strengthened the Oscars brand.
