With over a billion people in the world living in slums, and 925 million suffering from undernourishment, far too many are living in peril. The problem we face is people have become so desensitized to the way of life that so many must endure. It's easy to hear a story, or walk by someone on the street, and then immediately return back to your reality. Our challenge was to get people to take notice when these realities feel so far disconnected from their own lives. How the Other Half _______ is a campaign designed to disrupt people in their daily lives, and put them face to face with the reality of the issues at hand. Catching them in similar moments to their counterparts, How the Other Half _______ is able to offer a glimpse into the how the other half is forced to live.
Communicating with people in carefully selected moments and slightly altering their reality, How the Other Half _______ is able to catch people off guard and give them a glimpse into the how the other half is forced to live in comparison to their own lives.
