Create a logo for a company that offers children's cooking classes in an environment that encourages discovery and creativity.
Approach
A child is a young being, in cooking when one thinks of a young being an egg comes to mind. Cooking an egg is one of the earliest trials taught in the kitchen. By putting a child in an environment that encourages discovery is putting them in an environment that allows them to come out of their shell. Much like that of a hatching chick.
Results
A very light-hearted logo: An egg in a slightly off-kilter chef's hat. The character and rambunctiousness of a child are captured in the tilt. The roundness of the egg is communicated by the rounded stroke at the bottom, this also doubles as a smile. A light color palette communicates infancy, innocence, and lightness.
