We wanted to juxtapose the classic music that Recordland provides (vinyl) against the digital methods in which most people these days listen to music, so we created posters that, from a distance, look like iPods. Upon closer inspection, the viewer sees that we’ve created what looks like iPods out of classic records and album artwork. The posters were placed as series on blank walls around the city, as well as in transit stations as 4-foot by 6-foot backlit posters.
