The morning after the election, our team huddled to discuss how we can use our creative talents to contribute to the movement we knew was coming. We decided to design posters for the Women's March and started a Kickstarter campaign to raise enough money to print and donate posters to marches across the country.
After a studio brainstorm to develop content, each designer created two posters using a shared color palette for a total of ten designs (seven seen here). Using bold, bright colors and powerful imagery, we developed a series of posters that stood out amongst the rest and helped to amplify the voices of those marching.
Through our Kickstarter campaign, we raised enough money to print and donate 15,000 posters which were donated to Washington D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, Maui, Charlotte, Denver, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, Park City, Seattle, Indianapolis and Raleigh. This project is a true representation of ThoughtMatter's sense of purpose and commitment to putting our creativity where are mouths are.
