The Progressive Corporation ranks third in the nation for auto insurance, with more than 11 million customers. The company offers competitive rates and makes 24-hour, in-person and online services available to drivers throughout the United States and Canada. For the past 35 years, The Progressive Corporation has commissioned visual communications firm, Nesnadny + Schwartz (N+S), to create its Annual Report. The firm’s role has been to develop the conceptual and visual direction, create the overall design, and manage production from inception to delivery.
To express the 2017 Progressive Annual Report conceptual theme of “Acceleration,” which addresses the company’s commitment to growing its customer base and using that momentum to achieve their vision, N+S partnered with artist Heather McGill, who “considers her work to be an accelerator by which visual patterns are strengthened by their evolving and repeated use.”
The 2017 Progressive Annual Report is used by the company to communicate with shareholders, employees, potential investors, and analysts, as well as various local, state, and national governmental agencies. This year’s Report has been lauded as vibrant and energizing, and has received congratulatory reactions from Progressive employees, shareholders, and customers, as well as media and communication outlets.
