Design with ambiguity (honoring our best friend and mentor Massimo Vignelli).
Playing, in italian, with the names of instruments and the shapes and form of animals.
The zebra is black and white like a grand piano; the sole (in italian "sogliola") is flat (in italian "piatta") like cymbals; the celesta ("celeste" in italian is "light blue") sounds like a whale under the sea; the piccolo (in italian "piccolo" means "very small") is like a hummingbird; the jellyfish is exactly a form of "live electronics"; the spinetta is a musical instruments full of spines... The "Parco della Musica" (in english "Music Park") is the biggest italian auditorium, designed by Renzo Piano in Rome; the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia is a 500 year musical academy whose orchestra and choir are conducted by Sir Tony Pappano giving more than 60 concerts each season.
