To create a graphic that stood out against a more intricate field of art. It was being placed around the city of Austin and we felt we needed to go bold on this one.
We wanted the art to be simple, and almost sixties feel to it, almost child-like even. So we thought about the annoying sounds of a rooster in the morning and thought it even better to give him blood shot eyes. The color palette had to be super bright and saturated. Cock-a-doodle-do!
The client was very pleased as we passed out hand screen printed posters on location. Along with a lot of breakfast tacos and of course, bloody mary's.
