The assignment was to redesign a collection of books.

I chose to redesign a collection of five spooky-themed books: A Tell-Tale Heart and other Spooky Stories by Edgar Allen Poe; The Hound of the Baskervilles, by Arthur Conan Doyle; Dracula, by Bram Stoker; Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley; and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, by Robert Louis Stevenson. While all the books are written in different time periods and by different authors, they all have an element of horror.

I created modern covers that take a new interpretation on this theme. I did this by using disjointed type and splintered black-and-white found photography.
