Approach
The Summer 2015 issue of Print Magazine celebrated the annual “New Visual Artists” awards, a competition that recognizes new talent under the age of 30. We used gold leaf as a material metaphor for shiny new talent. We built a physical construction out of cut paper and gold leaf, and photographed it. The final cover is all done in camera.
