Personal project made for my lifelong love of flowers during the Covid quarantine.
Approach
I love flowers in the whole spectrum of their lives--from buds to fallen, wilted petals. These parrot tulips were beginning to wilt so I taped them to a black board in my studio with strong sidelight.
Results
The result is one I have not seen before and it delights me. I love the musical reference of the flowers as if they were notes on a staff.
