This project was a part of a portrait photography project. My concept for this project was the study of freckles as natural and as faux. This image was for the natural freckle photograph. The goal of this project was to take a studio portrait, edit it, and have creative background behind the photo.

My creative process for this photograph first involved conducting research and finding inspiration. Then, the process involved picking a subject with freckles, setting up a photography studio for this portrait, taking the photos, reviewing contact sheets, and finalizing the photo with edits. I turned this photo into black and white to really enhance the freckles and their contrast to the skin.

I believe this project is successful, detailed, and intentional. This project was received well by the class and by the model.
