The brief was to create a series of images that promotes healthy eating to children. The key words were Colour, Quirky, Creative, Dramatic.
My intention was to make the campaign fun, quirky and colourful to instantly capture the audience's attention. I wanted the images to have a human element and a sense of fantasy which is why I ended up with the personified food. I also intended the images to be visual puns through the association of common English idioms so that adults could find humour in the images.
This was a mock up campaign for a third year creative advertising course, so the client in this case was my tutor. The campaign was received very well and there was quite a bit of laughter during the final presentation. My tutor suggested that I submit the images to Graphis.
