I studied a lot of vintage style and victorian typographic posters and signs. Pulling elements from a number of different works I was able to create these letterforms with custom interactions between the letters.
Judge Roy Saloon-Grade Tequila became a reality with gold foil and embossing of the design. The bottle tells the story of the eccentric Justice of the Peace Roy Bean. It provides a juxtaposition of the elements of a turn of the century medicinal bottle with the intricate lettering that could only befit the highest law in the land— that is when the law is deliberated on in a small wooden saloon, away from most civilization.
