America’s most dangerous war isn’t being fought abroad. It’s happening here at home.

So we enlisted famed war photographer, David Guttenfelder, and followed him 5,500 miles across America to photograph the military’s deadliest battlefields—the living rooms, bedrooms, backyards and garages where our vets have taken their own lives.

The project was picked up by national—and even international media outlets. Without purchasing a single ad, the work appeared in Time, National Geographic, Fortune, Fast Co. the Wall Street Journal, PRI, the BBC, and many other publications. The War at Home has generated millions of media impressions. It’s started a national conversation. Our vets are finding the hope and encouragement they need to get well. And America is beginning to fight its most important battle—the War at Home.
