The American Red Cross intake form asks donors their gender and only allows a binary selection of male or female. This is based on a recommendation by the FDA. Self identification of biological sex instead would allow gender non conforming individuals to both provide the information the Red Cross is seeking and support non-binary gender identification.

I created this poster because I want to give blood and identify as non-binary.
