The assigned project was to create a series of fashion ads. The goals were to be creative, have a mainly image-based campaign, and most importantly, to tell a story through them.
We first chose what element of fashion and brand we would be representing in our ads and dove into drawing as many ideas as possible for the campaign from there. We then filtered the ideas down to the best idea: mine being people wearing socks in situations where you usually wouldn’t see them being worn. We proceeded to plan out how we would execute our campaigns including things like what models we would use, what props we would need, and really working towards bringing our campaign to life.
The projected turned out a lot better than I had really ever anticipated. It went from this rather silly idea and turned into a campaign that presented itself as something I never expected it to: sophisticated. I couldn’t have created this campaign without the help of my model and sister, Dale Bond, along with guidance from my Professor who assigned the project.
