My assignment is to create a logo that helps communicate the company's visual image as well as the corporate color palette. My intention is to make a symbol that shows the theme of a Halloween-themed costume store.

The Spirit logo is meant to be a Halloween pumpkin with the evil jaw dropped down from the pumpkin to resemble an evil spirit that possesses the pumpkin. This logo has an ominous and scary look of the haunting spirit that portrays the fun and spirit of Halloween. It's different from the original logo but stays faithful to the grim reaper's menacing smirk. The color palette stays true to its theme as well as the depth of the shadows and highlights that reside on the logo.

The logo is consistent from both its head and jaw. The concept is well developed for its intended target and the color palette feels appropriate for the design of the company.
