GRAVITY & DONNA MCLELLAN
Just like its solidly grounded muse, Gravity is a strong and sturdy typeface with subtle details and spirited flair. Its small trailing serifs point not only to Ms. McClellan’s stability, but her drive and ambition. Because of those serifs, Gravity, like Donna, is always moving forward. Its wide stroke width emphasizes consistency and stability, and, reinforcing that notion, Gravity’s x-height is the same as its x-width. Rounded exterior corners point to Ms. McClellan’s easygoing nature and friendliness, with the D, Q, a, e, and s having unique flair to display an unexpected sense of humor, but square interior corners show that when it matters, Ms. McClellan means business. She also, however, takes time to decompress, reflected in glyphs with no serifs as a nod to her appreciation for slowing down.
