The Oklahoma State University department of art, graphic design, and art history needed a poster to promote the guest lecture for visiting designer Meena Khalili.
Approach
The design of the poster is based on Meena’s Iranian-American heritage, utilizing deconstructions of both the American and Iranian flag and the deconstructions of Arabic and Latin type.
