Referencing late 1800’s and early 1900’s Swiss, German, and Dutch ephemera, I was inspired by the unique typography found on bank notes and posters.
Results
My research led me to designing a custom typeface, Postresina Sans, for the hotel’s logo. The thin condensed letterforms evoke an elegant historic air to the institution, and the emerald and copper bring warmth and luxury to the branding.
