Assignment
Design new environmentally sensitive packaging for Array
Fine Dining Cutlery using original branding.
Approach
ARRAY [uh-rey]
noun. An impressive display or range of a particular type of thing.
An ordered arrangement, in particular.
verb. Display or arrange (things) in a particular way.
Array’s logo mark was inspired by the fine coordination of cutlery and
a humans obsession with keeping it organized. The letters have been
arranged in an unique orderly display, paired with a white square to
represent the dining room table and the arrangement of place
settings. After the slip cover is removed, the colours of the organizer
remain solid, with no decalling. This helps the organizer seamlessly fit
into the consumers modern kitchen décor.
Results
ARRAY’s new packaging solution also acts as a cutlery organizer for
your drawer. The most popular reason for a consumer to purchase
a new cutlery set is when they are moving into a new home. This
solution eliminates the need to make a second purchase of a cutlery
drawer organizer; making the only waste a thin 100% recyclable
Bioplastic sleeve. Bioplastics are plastics derived from renewable
biomass sources, such as vegetable fats and oils, corn starch, and pea
starch.
