The goal of this project was to rebrand the CC Ballet company with a more modern look, to help elevate them in the movement of ballet in modern culture.
The process began with creating an abstract logo that reinforces the idea of inclusivity as it represents dancers in a non-conformitive way. The arrangement of the logo mark represents the figure of a dancer in arabeqsque and also the foundation footsteps that are taught to dancers. The logo inspired the rest of the brand by utilizing the dots that are seen in the logo to highlight the form of the dancer's body in any imagery used, such as the stationery, show posters and website.
This project was successful because of the versatility that the logo can inspire different shapes and movements throughout the system. It speaks to the inclusivity of all dancers and viewers as it brings the company into a more modern day appearance for such a timeless art form.
